Logos
MOBOTIX cameras can blend several color logos of any size into the camera images with pixel precision. Optionally the logos can also be positioned relative to the edges of the image. Using the browser, the image files are simply loaded into the camera as PNG files. The logos may contain cutouts and have transparency settings of between 10 and 100%, allowing you to integrate not only any customer logo into the MOBOTIX camera, but also interesting effects such as watermarks.
Time-controlled
Each single logo can be assigned a separate week program which controls when it appears on the image. Week programs can be set to the precise minute and can contain any number of switching statuses spread over the day. The week-time control already includes a function which regulates exceptions on public holidays or during vacations.
Animated logos
MOBOTIX cameras can also be used to create animated logos in order to draw greater attention to a website. For example, this function can be used to move figures across the screen or to generate ticker text. In order to generate these types of animated logos, several individual images are simply loaded into the camera, and they are then assigned to a logo. The image can be set to change at intervals of between 1 second and 30 minutes. There are lots of interesting applications with regard to the images which can be loaded online via a URL. For example, weather data animations can be blended into the image.
Loading online
MOBOTIX cameras also support the cyclical loading of logos automatically via a URL (e.g. www.mobotix.com/logos/mxlogo_320.png). This, for example, enables advertising breaks for a group of cameras to be controlled centrally via a server. The time interval settings can vary between 5 minutes and daily.
Choice of logo depends on image format
Logos can be defined separately in the MOBOTIX camera for each size of image; i.e. if the user changes the image size from VGA to CIF, for example, the camera automatically switches to the assigned logo. This allows logos to be depicted more effectively than with automatic scaling because a larger font size can be chosen in a small logo format.
